Good afternoon, NH Educators! We’re so excited to be sharing the newly updated New Hampshire Network with you all! Since its launch three years ago, our team at the New Hampshire Department of Education in collaboration with our partners at 2Revolutions, have been listening closely to your feedback and ideas on how to improve the platform. This recent update is a reflection of many of those great ideas, along with others to make the New Hampshire Network more intuitive and user friendly. When you sign in for the first time you will notice that the new platform looks quite different! We now have a dashboard that organizes your activity feed and shows you various pieces of content and experiences you might be interested in joining and participating in. We also have some new nomenclature: Networks are now called Groups, Learning Paths are now called Courses, and Breakout Groups are now Groups. You can easily navigate to all the networks (groups) and learning paths (courses) you were part of in the older version through your navigation bar on the left hand side, as well as browse all the great groups and courses that are available throughout the state. Lastly, we are no longer using Single Sign On as the main way to sign into the New Hampshire Network. Instead, you can just sign in following these simple directions:
1. Enter your email and then click “Did you forget your password” to reset your password. (You only need to reset your password upon first signing in, or if you ever forget it in the future!) You will receive an email within a few minutes with a reset password link. (Make sure to check spam if it doesn’t arrive.) If it still never arrives, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
2. Make sure to save the New Hampshire Network URL so you can easily find it again! Use the bookmark feature in your browser or save it as a “favorite.”
Before signing in, though, we highly encourage you to watch this short video (https://vimeo.com/160298601) that walks through all the new features OR check out this document (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1S2t-wN8bh9LVGGMTOZbtjWEuzwqJVy9EFhVdVS7cqoQ/edit?usp=sharing) that gives screenshots of the updates. We will also be holding two webinars to walk through the new features and functionality in April. Stay-tuned for information about that. Thanks for continuing to connect and collaborate with all educators across New Hampshire. We can’t wait to see you in the New Hampshire Network!
